In 2024, the residents of the Bryn Mawr neighborhood in Minneapolis were seeking help in finding a solution to their overlooked crossings near schools and businesses. These designs are intended to catch drivers' attention while remaining fun. They use
bold colors, shapes, and motivational quotes, especially near the school, while the roundabout crossing’s unique shape fits a butterfly’s wings.
